Pertinent documentation on the village helped to establish the standpoint and object of this study which led to its structure and content.Chapter 2 Natural, Historical, and Humanistic BackgroundAnalysis and investigations were carried out on the natural, historical, and humanistic background of Shui-An settement using the information that we gathered.Chapter 3 Shui-An Folk Religious Architecture Investigations into the religious architecture of the people of Shui-An settement and its functions and spatial systems.Chapter 4 Houses and Affiliated Structures in Shui-An settementA systematic analysis and survey were carried out on the different types of houses and their accompanying structures in the context of changes brought about over the ages.Chapter 5 Architecture Used in Buildings Used for Production, Traffic, and Other Uses in Shui-An settement Probes were made into the architectural forms and construction produced by the activities and uses of building used for production, traffic, as well as buildings for other uses in Shui-An settement.Chapter 6 ConclusionSummaries were made on the statistics gathered from the study of Shui-An architecture and explanations on the relations and significance of the overall constitution and unique spatial qualities that appear in the settement.
