One of the key tasks of Concurrent Engineering is to evalute the manufacturability of product. Manufacturability evaluation plays an important role in integrated product and process development. The purpose of manufacturability evaluation is to provide enough manufacturing information in the design stage, in order to pinpoint incorrect design .The purpose of this research is to integrate manufacturability assessmenton index about cutting,establishing the manufacturability evaluation system.The paper presents informational requirements for manufacturability assessment to assist user in evaluating the manufacturability of a product.
