Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 造船工程學系 === 86 === The basic activity of shipbuilding is to execute the workflow in the shipyard. The workflow includes two important elements-" getting information" and "controlling the rate of progress". Getting information is related to the flow smooth or not. Controlling the rate of progress concerns the competition of the shipyard. The goal of shipyard is how to proceed every procedure of shipbuilding by the rate of progress and in time. Every procedure of shipbuilding is concerned with others very complicated. Some procedures need many preceding steps. Therefore transparent information among procedures appears considerably important. However information among procedures always changes dynamically. In a word, the problem, which the shipyard is eager to solve, is how the engineers obtain those changing dynamic information among the procedures rapidly and correctly. Because the technologies of Internet is mature day by day. Basing on the advantages of Internet, like the public and standard structure, the low cost ofstructuring and the global linking of webs, the author tries to use the WWW technologies which have the features of unified data format, crossing plate forms, user friendly and the multimedia content to develop a system of managing work flow. The system not only could promote the corporate efficiency among groups but also could implement over platforms. It also can breakthrough the limit of local area net and supports the Intranet of the shipyard. As a result, the system could promote the efficiency of workflow inside the shipyard on the one hand. On the other hand, it let the information circulating among shipyards and outside companies more rapid and economical.
