Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 土木工程學系 === 86 === In this research, dynamic compaction model tests in circular chamber and triaxial tests were conducted to investigate the influences on soil mechanicalbehaviors under dynamic consolidation method. Using dynamic compaction modeltests in circular chamber, relations of the variation of dynamic impact stress with depth at impact center is obtained through changing the conditions ofcompaction. The effective depth of improvement predicted by the formula ofimpact load and the relation of dynamic impact stress and depth as mentionedbefore. From the analyzing results of Mailia case, this prediction method has considered the differences of soil layers between in-situ and lab tests. Aftersome modifactions, a good prediction result is obtained. Besides, from the results of triaxial tests, it is known that the consolidation settlements ofsoil reached the maximum value at the moment of impact, and it increases withthe magnitude of impact pressure. This results matched with the function ofcomplete major consolidation settlements in short time as dynamic consolidation method is applied. After the treatment of impact, the strength of soil increasesdistinct with the impact pressure, but the increment of impact pressure has a limit which depends on the value of the consolidation pressure on the soil bodyand the degree of absorbing impact energy.
