The subjects of this study were 48 counselors and 82 clients from student counseling centers of 23 colleges in Taiwan. Before the first counseling session, clients completed the Adult Attachment Scale(Closeness, Dependence, and Anxiety sub-scale)(AAS). After this, counselors and clients completed the Session Evaluation Questionnaire (Smoothness, Depth, Positivity, and Arousal sub-scale)(SEQ). Then, during the second and third session, counselors and clients completed the SEQ and the Working Alliance Inventory(Task, Bond, and Goal sub-scale)(WAI). Data was analyzed with statistical methods. The results of this study are as follows: (1).In the relationship between client attachment and working alliance, only Anxiety sub-scale of AAS significantly correlated with Task sub-scale of WAI by counselors. (2).In the relationship between client attachment and client session impact, three correlation efficiencies reached significant-level: the correlation between Closeness and Positivity, Anxiety and Smoothness, Anxiety and Positivity. However, in the relationship between client attachment and counselor session impact, only the relationship between Anxiety and Smoothness reached significant-level. (3).Both clients and counselors have significant correlation above middle- level in all dimensions of WAI and in all dimensions but Arousal of SEQ. (4).In the correlation between clients and counselors, only Task of WAI reached significant-level, and only Smoothness and Depth of SEQ reached significant-level. (5).As for the evaluations of the clients, Anxiety of AAS and Task of WAI can predict the total scores of SEQ. However, as for counselors, only Goal of WAI can predict the total scores of SEQ. Implications of these results were discussed and suggestions for future research were also given. Shuchu Chao 蕭文 1998 學位論文 ; thesis 2 zh-TW
