Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 輔導學系 === 86 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship
among personality traits, consultation needs and consultation
willingness. The measurements applied in this study included
"Locus of Control Inventory", "Consultation Needs Inventory",
and "Consultation Willingness Inventory". The participants,
selected by stratified proportional cluster sampling ,
consisted of 815 junior high and elementary school teachers
and counselors in Taiwan area. The obtained data was analyzed
by One-way ANONA, MANOVA, Pearson product moment correlation,
Canonical correlation, and Multiple regression analysis.
The results of the study included:
1.Consultation willingness of junior high and elementary
school teachers needed promoting.
2.Counselors were different from teachers in perspectives of
consultation needs and willingness.
3.The teachers were Female, short years of teaching experience,
from remote area, with experiences of being trained in
guidance, or consultation experiences had a high tendency to
consultation needs.
4.The teachers were Female, short years of teaching experience,
town,with experiences of being trained in guidance, or
consultation experiences had a high tendency to consultation
needs and willingness.
5.External control teachers had a high tendency to consultation
willingness.
6.Consultation needs of junior high and elementary school
teachers influenced their consultation willingness.
7.There was significant correlation among personality traits,
consultation needs and consultation willingness.
8.personality traits and consultation needs of junior high and
elementary school teachers could be used to effectively
predict their consultation willingness.
Based on the results, some suggestions to consultants,
consultees, school educators, and related educational
authorities were provided in this study. Some topics can be
investigated by other researchers in the future.
