碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 大陸研究所 === 86 === The Mainland China started the "Ninth-Five" plan from 1995. To advance the concerting development , Mainland China is divided into seven economic regions . There are the Yangtze river delta , surrounding the Pohai sea , the southeast along the coast , the southwest and the southern china , the northeast , the center five provinces, and the northwest . The research of the thesis aimed directly at the regional development of the Yangtze river delta . Based on available data , the present study focused on the development of Shanghai and the Yangtze river delta . The statistical results shows the contrast of the regional differences . It further indicater that the development of the Yangtze river delta have powerful influence on Mainland China .
