further discussed. To overcome the problem of secondary parasitic ringing
, a R-C-D clmaped snubber is used and its operating principle and design
equations are derived.
Based on the operating principle of phase-shifted full-bridge zero-
voltage-switching converter, another kind of zero-voltage-switching converter
is proposed. It retains the same advantages of phase-shifted full-bridge
zero-voltage-switching converter but can be implemented using a conventional
full-bridge control IC.
Finally, the zero-voltage-switching technology is applied to drive
plasma display panels. Novel energy recovery drivers are proposed to drive
plasma display panels while minimizing energy loss and achieving soft
transients.
