Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 機械工程學系研究所 === 86 === The influences of design parameters on two-stage air twin screw compressor performances are theoretically investigated. A mathematical model considering the effect of real gas, gas leakage, and heat exchange between gas and injected oil, etc. is developed. The system of equations is solved using a Runge - Kutta integration algorithm with rotating angle of the male rotor as the independent variable. The model is corrected by experimental data and has better prediction ability later. The model is utiliz ed to analyze the performance of a two - stage air twin screw compressor. The design parameters considered to improve performance in the thesis include buil d-in volume ratio, intermediate pressure, intermediate temperature, oil flowrate , oil inlet temperature, and angular velocity of male rotor. Optimized designed parameters and operating conditions are presented. The numerical results show good agreements with experimental data provided by the manufacturer or ob tained from relevant literature. From the results of this study, the effect of design parameters can be realized. Besides, it may beused as a reference for manufacturers in designing or improving similar machines.
