Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程技術學系 === 86 === Since soil has unlimited-extension character. The analysis of dynamic soil-structure interaction becomes very complicated if the finite element method is used for simulation of the soil. To simplify the analytical model, the beam elements are utilized to simulate the soil. As the soil modal is subjected to the earthquakes, the shear modului and damping ratio of soil layers will vary with strain and time. The characteristics of these properties are investigated and applied to the beam elements for simulation of the soil. Site data are then used to prove the accuracy of this simulation. Results of this study show that the structure frequency has influence on converged shear modului and damping ratio, only at low frequencies. The converged value of shear modului at the same depth become smaller as the frequency of the load to the soil frequency. The frequency content of the earthquake seams to have less influence on the dynamic shear modului and damping ratios than the PGA. In general, the use of beam elements annunciated with the converged shear modului and damping ratios for the simplified soil model and for the analysis of dynamic soil- structure interaction has proved to be very accurate and efficient.
