As for dynamic problem, it is so complicated that the soil is assumed to be a homogeneous elastic half space. So far, there is no effective simple model to simulate the multi-layer system. Thus, this study uses the lumped parameter method to simulate the soil mass on the top and bottom of each layer and connect them by the shear springs and dashpots to simplify the soil layers. It is expected that a simple as well as rational model be developed to dealwith the practical dynamic soil-structure interaction problem. The results show that very good results may be obtained by the lumped parameter method compared with finite element method. Meanwhile, the simplified model developed can also catch completely the characteristics of the frequency content of the system. Chen Shi-Shuenn 陳希舜 1998 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
