Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 應用化學研究所 === 86 === ABSTRACT The hydrothermal synthesis and characterization of a novel organic/inorganic hybrid compound : viz.[(MoO3)m(2,2''-bipyridine)n] and [(MoO3) m(1,10-phenanth-roline)n] is present . These novel compounds were characterized by various techniques including Raman and IR spectroscopy , XRD , SEM and thermogravi-metric analysis . Vibrational analysis of these compounds by Raman and IR datashow a novel molybdenum structure with 2,2''-bipyridine being coordinated withmolybdenum atom . The X-ray powder diffraction data of these compounds areindexed to a monoclinic cell with a=14.313(4)A , b=9.603(2)A , c=7.288(2)A ,β=102.07(2)°. The structure exibits a chain-like framework consisting ofcorner- shared distorted octahedron (MoO4N2) with the 2,2''-bipyridine servingas a bidentate ligand whose ring fanning out from the chain . Structural evolution of [(MoO3)m(2,2''-bipyridine)n] and [(MoO3)m(1,10-phenanthroline)n]upon removal of 2,2''-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline through thermal treatment were studied by in-situ Raman spectroscopy and thermogravimetricanalysis . (MoO3)(2,2''-bipyridine) retain it''s structural integrity until290℃ and a transition to (MoO3)2(2,2''-bipyridine) is identified around 330℃before the final conversion to MoO3 around 400℃ . (MoO3)2(2,2''-bipyridine)and (MoO3)3(2,2''- bipyridine)2 have no transition upon the thermal treatmentand also the [(MoO3)m(1,10-phenanthroline)n] . They all finally converse to MoO3 at different temperature .
