We believe the color image process is also the destination of the future AGV. Therefore we execute this technical project of color image to enter the new era . We apply both "Microsoft C" and "Assembly" languages to write programs which meet the specifications of the VIGA image card and color camera . The grabbed image is then processed according to various purposes . In the end the image data is put into the algorithm to guide the AGV. In this paper AGV is a four-wheeler which uses camera to get the image of the tape of road and than select forward or right or left direction . So we expect single color image that can direct AGV race . This is an essential idear of the paper .The superiority of the color CCD over the monochrome is that there are more information of the road available for guidance , which gives a promising future. This research project offers an opportunity to write a program which used to process data grabbed by the color CCD automatically . In all this paper has an emphasis on color image process .
