The methodology used in the study is a questionnaire investigation. According to results of the study, the following conclusions can be draws: (1) Adult basic education teachers can apply teaching professional knowledge. (2) Adult basic education teachers mostly use the knowledge of teacher-student relationship, and the knowledge of teaching method was seldom used. (3) The different variables「sex」、「age」、「teaching years in the elementary schools」、「teaching years in adult basic education」、「education degree」、「weather he takes part in adult basic education teaching activities 」of adult basic education teachers choice has different view in all and each degree teaching professional knowledge used condition.. (4) Adult basic education teachers can apply professional knowledge continuously. (5) Adult basic education teachers consider that the chance for taking part in the adult basic education and edit the guides for teachers can improve the professional knowledge.
