L. Kao 高玉玲 碩士 長庚大學 機械工程研究所 87 In this paper the mechanical and electrochemical properties of annealed 4nm and 30nm thin zinc electroplated copper were studied. With the result of micro-structure examination using TEM / EDS-analysis these two electro-plated layers were also discussed. In mechanical properties tensile and bend-fatigue tests were conducted. The results show that ductility and fatigue resistance of these two zinc-electroplated layers is increased when the layers were annealed at 180℃; Whereas tensile strength was not affected by annealing. In electrochemical measurements anodic polarization, corrosion potential vs. time and AC impedance spectrometer of annealed 4nm and 30nm zinc-electroplated copper were conducted in four selected electrolytes, which were regulated in different pH values with the addition of H2SO4, NaCl, Na2PHO4 and NaOH to water. The annealing effect of these nanothin zinc layers can be detected with the variation of corrosion potential in NaCl and Na2PHO4. Whereas using AC impedance test the annealing effect can quantitatively measured in Na2PHO4 electrolyte with the amount of the charge transfer resistance (Rt), which will be greatly reduced as nanothin zinc-electroplated layers annealed at 180℃. With the aid of TEM/EDS analysis on cross section specimen the interfacial diffusion of nanothin zinc/copper will be determined, which affect the electro-chemical properties. C. A.
