It is "Computer Aid Design(CAD)". We can simulate all kinds of design even in visual by the fast compute ability of computer. Radiosity method is ideal to simulate architectural environments because it computes the energy distribution in the scene and it is view-independent. Nevertheless radiosity method has too large com-pute time to dynamic environments. So it's difficult to utilize in CAD. In this paper we present a new scene-partitioning scheme called "light source beam" and a data structure called "Light Source Beam Scene-Partitioning list" (LSBSP-list) to enhance the hierarchical radiosity for dynamic environments. This scheme focuses on simplifying the process of visibility calculation in dynamic envi-ronments. Since most of the energy transfer occurs between the light source and ob-ject surfaces, a significant integration of relationship in geometry between the light source and object surfaces can simplify the visibility calculation. When a change in geometric occurs, we can identify which energy links are affected and need recalcula-tion by using the LSBSP-List. We also present a new type of link called "visibility link" to enhance the recalculation of energy links, and the creation of new energy links. Wen-Kai Dai 戴文凱 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 32 en_US
