With the time-variable sliding surface, the Youla Control Parameterization can be used to deal with the stability issue of motion under sliding mode. Under the proposed scheme, we have enough freedoms that can not only guarantee the stability but also have the capability to minimize the effect of unmatched disturbance upon system response.
