Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國醫藥學院 === 中國藥學研究所 === 87 === I-Tiao-Gung(一條根) is a famous folk medicine in Taiwan, and has long been used to treat rheumatism and arthritis by herbalists and Chinese medicine doctors. The origin of I-Tiao-Gung is mainly Flemingia of Family Leguminosae. But, we found that the drug popularly used in Kinmen was an ascending herb. For identifying the sources of different specimen and development of medical resource, we started with the pharmocobotanical and pharmacognostical identification, and found that there were totally 7 species of 6 genera in 2 families sold and used with the same name on the market, including 6 species of 5 genera in Leguminosae, and 1 species of 1 genus in Caryophyllaceae. This work would be not only helpful in the identification and utilization of herbal drug but also beneficial to the research of pharmacology and phytochemistry. From the result of observation, the conclusions are drawn as follows: 1. Chien-Chin-Pa(千觔拔)was firstly recorded in Chu-Wu-Ming-Shih-Tu-Kao(植物名實圖考)of Chin Dynasty. Its resources are the roots of Flemingia of Leguminosae. *Graduate Institute of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences, China Medical College **91, Hsueh-Shin Road, Taichung, Taiwan , Republic of China 2.
