碩士 === 中原大學 === 室內設計學系 === 87 === Via various time section, this study is to research the exterior and practical incentive influencing various types of residence on Wang-An Island and Chiang-Chun-Aou Island, further through on-the-site field investigation as well as the experiences to review the documentation, to research the reciprocal relations among the residents, living behaviors, space model and interior decoration on the basis of the research units of the architectural spaces for living on these two islands. Therefore, the present research shall emphasize two points: One is to collect the practical environmental information which includes the distribution status and amount of the residences, the space organization of civil residences, positioning forms, structures and application condition on the islands for the analysis of the basic data on residence space, form and types; the other is to base on the angles of space form, application allocation and social evolution etc. for analyzing and comparing the differences between various types of residences. According to the space forms obtained from the investigation within the researched areas, we have analyzed and conducted into the residence forms such as traditional tenon types, store building types during Japanese ruling era, modern store building types etc., further to compare various types of residence space, forms, construction techniques and decorations to distinguish their differences, as well as to discuss the reasons and tracks for the evolution of the residences in both islands. This thesis is consist of six chapters with the abstraction as follow: Chapter 1 General Via related documentation, to ascertain the motive and purposes of this thesis, then to present a general description on the group development tracks, nature, humane environment background of both islands. Chapter 2 General status of residence on both islands In accordance with the space form to analyze residence types then to calculate the residence amount and distribution status on both islands. Chapter 3 Traditional tenon type residences Aiming the traditional tenon type residences to discuss the surface attribution and application situation of various types of them, with the description of the residence structure and decoration. Chapter 4 Residences of store building types during Japanese ruling era Aiming the residences of store building types during Japanese ruling era, to discuss the surface attribution and application situation of various types of them, with the description of the residence structure and decoration. Chapter 5Modern residence of store building types Aiming the modern residence of store building types to discuss the surface attribution and application situation of various types of them, with the description of the residence structure and decoration. Chapter 6Conclusion By comparing the differences among the three types of residence for their space, form, construction techniques and decoration situation to analyze and conduct the residence evolution tracks as well as the reasons to influence the residence space form on both islands.
