It will have profound consequences in particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology. There are many reactor neutrino experiments world wide ,and the Taiwan experiment is one of them. The first neutrino experiment in Taiwan is called " a pilot experiment with reactor neutrinos in Taiwan" ,and is a collaboration of Taiwan ,mainland China and United States. This experiment will take place in Nuclear Power Station 2, and I will introduce the physics with reactor neutrino experiment . Nuclear reactors are prolific source of electron anti-neutrinos .The detector will consist of 510 kg of CsI(Tl) crystals, many electron as targets forνe -e scattering. The signal are the scintillation light from crystals, readout by the photo-diode. The output will pass through a pre-amplifier board to electronics system. The output will then be recorded out by FADC. The electronics system is designed, setup ,and test by our team. This thesis documents the details of this effort. The gamma-ray background may hit the detector from outside and producing single hits. A full GEANT simulation has been performed to evaluate the background. The simulation efforts are to evaluate the suppression factors for photons hitting the detector from a point at the detector surface and producing single hits; to study the detection of signals electrons in the inner target region,and to study the attenuation factors for background photons originating from the photo-diodes and pre-amplifiers regions. The results of the simulation help us to know the best choose for the veto length.
