碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系 === 87 === As the research of group system design find out different mechanism in design device, there is "organism of nature" and "regulation" and "grand design". From merging two design theories "regulation" and "grand design" into a viewpoint, which explains substance performance mode of design called "substance form".This study try to order open space performance mode of design called "constructing the void". Whole structure is relate with the interface of group system and is proceed unite of substance space with choose and adjust. This design theory could be a mode of movement to rich the space. As the open space lead design and to control the quality of the solid, that is main specialty of this design method.The form of interface is a tool of design theory in open space design. The interface describes whole system and includes the interface of foundation and the composition of basic.The construction relation belongs group system and to view original environment called reading space. The main idea looks system of interface and describes the logic of environment space, also set up the theory of void to make principle of group constitution. Though the case of "Chinese classic garden" examines and observes.At last, Through operating design examines the ability of production in theory to prove useful results of theory. "Constructing the void" builds proceeding of design theory and constitutes design construction of group building, also describes an open space. This text research into "the research center of Si Cao damp place''s organism" for the case.
