In medicine, CAS can be used in plastic operation. Using the computer graphic techniques to perform the 3D data is a simulation way to approach the surgery. The 3D data are now provided by 3D-grabber machine, such as computed tomography(CT), magnetic resonance image(MRI), and 3D-laser scanner. The shape from shading method is an another way to obtain the 3D data of the object. Shape from shading(SFS) is a method to recover the shape from variational shading of the image. There are several algorithms provided in the shape from shading field. We choose the finite element method(FEM) as our reconstruction algorithm. In our experiment, a system has built to acquire the 3D data of the object. There are two simulated cases and three real cases in the experiment result. First, simulated condition built in the computer to confirm our algorithm. But in the real world the error occurs. Thus some factors are modified to decrease the error, such as the number of the light source is extended to four, the calibration of the camera. Finally, a roundtable is built to acquire the 3D data from multi-view. An easily method based on the rotatable axis is used to registry the 3D data from different viewpoint. Thus the 3D model is established in our system. Kuo-Sheng Cheng 鄭國順 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 54 en_US
