"Silence" is a single-movement chamber work for flute, bass charinet, violin, double bass, percussion for two and harp. It was inspired by the conception of Tang poetry "Wen-Chong". In the composition, I tried to express the feelings and imagination of silence and seclusion, which are the main thoughts in this poem. The written part in the thesis discusses the sense of imageries from this poem and the analysis on the structure of this work is also included.
