| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 87 === The objective of this research is to construct a web-based synchronized learning system. Being built on the basis of limited network bandwidth and normal computer hardware, the system allows students proceed their distance learning interactively.
The hypermedia documents, which are full of the text, audio and video data are suitable for delivering the courseware. There are several web-based instructional systems, which collect the courseware and discussion forum. The users of these systems read the courseware individually and communicate with each other asynchronously using E-mail or BBS. The synchronized studying system of web-based courseware supports an interactive learning environment where learners could proceed synchronous learning and communicate with teachers or classmates immediately.
