The characteristics of laser diode, such as stability and lifetime, are important issues which are hardly ignored. Therefore, data of laser diode characteristics is an important information.
Because of mass production of laser diode, quality is highly demanded. The laser diode automatic testing system, designed in this dissertation, is made of single chip and peripheral circuits. It is capable of deriving characteristic data from numbers laser diodes, including bios current, voltage drop and optical power. Besides of GUI window programs, the system communicates with personal computer via serial port and provides the remarkable power of data assessing.
