Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 化學工程學研究所 === 87 === The jet spouted bed which consists of a transparent Plexiglas cylindrical column of 1 m high and a conical base with a 30°, 36°or 40°contact angle was used in this study. The particles used were glass bead with average diameter of 0.989mm, 2.105mm and 2.943mm respectively. The pressure tap was put below the bed where the inlet tube placed. Examine the spout phenomena with the different cone angles, particle sizes and static bed heights. On the other hand, the effects of aforementioned operating variables on minimum spouting velocity, minimum jet spouting velocity, spouting pressure drop and jet spouting pressure drop were also studied. The results showed that minimum spouting velocity, minimum jet spouting velocity and pressure drop increased as bed height increasing. The effect of the cone angle on the minimum jet spouting velocity was similar to the minimum spouting velocity. At low bed height, for the smaller cone angle, the minimum velocity was larger; but with the bed height increasing, the minimum velocity was almost the same at all cone angle. With increasing particle size, the minimum velocity increased weakly. There is delimitation to get a good circulation in jet spouting bed. For smaller particles and smaller cone angle, the particles did not have good cyclic movement in bed, but had a perfect mixing.
