Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 食品科技研究所 === 87 === Adlay is traditionally consumed as a cereal for both meal and medical uses in China. Recent researches suggest that adlay may affect human health by antitumorgenesis, improving immune response, lowering serum cholesterol and blood sugar, etc. The purposes of this study were for isolation and identification the compounds from oil-soluble adlay testa extract. The methanol extract of oil-soluble adlay testa extract was separated and isolated using various chromatographies to obtain sixteen compounds, and one of these compounds is a new compound. Addition to long chain fatty alcohol、acid and ester, the most are steroids and phenols of seventeen compounds. The steroids of these compounds are stigmasterol、β-sitosterol、b-sitosterone、cycloart-23(Z)-ene-3β,25-diol and 3-β-hydroxystigmast-5-en-7-one. The phenols of these compounds are vanillin、4-hydroxybenzaldehyde、6-methoxy-3H-benzoxazol、4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxybenzaldehyde、vanillic acid and 4-hydroxyacetophenone.One of these compounds identified as coixamide is a new compound.
