碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 商學研究所 === 87 === The main thrust of this article is to analyze the competitive factors of Taiwan’s IC design companies. Then we can find out the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The paper proceeds with an industry analysis of Taiwan’s IC design industry by collecting the relevant data. The opinions of Taiwan’s IC design companies are also included with the help of questionnaires. From the questionnaires result the four key success factors such as person of ability, eminent brand name and reputation, good cooperative relationship with foundries, and technique for system-on-a-chip. Finally the paper also tries to make some suggestions for Taiwan''s IC design companies and government.
