It will extend design and evaluation methods to the stage of process planning. It starts from engineering drawing of detail design and then generates the process planning sheet. Cost estimation is finally proposed as an index to evaluate system variants so as to reduce the period of product development. Thus it reaches the aim of design and manufacturing integration.
