This technology has been widely used in human medicine and has become the basic item of the health examination. However, only rare researches and application works in exercise electrocardiography had been noticed in veterinary science. The main obstacles between these two application areas are: ( 1 ) The cost of the instrument is high; ( 2 ) The structure and quality of the skin between dog and human are different and ( 3 ) Sophisticated procedures techniques are required. The objectives of this work were to try to establish the suitable apparatuses, including electrode selections, and a systematic procedure for in the exercise electrocardiography by comparing the waves obtained from the wireless-long distance monitor. The results show that the quality of the wave forms was improved significantly by decreasing the mobilization of an electrode attachment and that , by comparing the different electrodes, both ECG conductive adhesive electrodes and Harvard surface electrodes, were applicable in the exercise electrocardiography in dogs. The exercise electrocardiography thus developed is a preliminary one which, based on the changes in heartrate, appears to be a promising approach.
