In this modern society, the product is trending toward variety and its life cycle is shorter than before. Therefore, the use of traditional Shewhart quality control chart is limited. The Theme of this dissertation is to study the technology of the production system of the short runs.
The complicated computational transformation of Q chart discussed in this dissertation leads difficult to use it. Thus the purpose of this study is to develop a computer software of Q control chart to solute this complicated problem and hope that this software can be popularized in industrial business. And then, the theory and practice can be combined together.
