The limit position configurations and their geometric characteristics of Stephenson six-link mechanism type III are first analyzed. The result shows that a degenerated type, which can be considered as a combination of two four-bar linkages, is particularly useful. As it not only suitable for generating double stroke output motions, but also would allow analytical dimensional synthesis to be performed. Accordingly, the analytical solutions for synthesizing equal and unequal amplitudes double strokes of this type of six-link mechanism are presented respectively. In addition, a method for finding the optimal dimensions such that the synthesized mechanism would give the maximum mechanical advantage is developed. 王勵群 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW
