Series full-scale tests, which include location of motorcycles and materials of ceiling in the building arcade, are conducted. Temperature profiles, heatflux and fire height are also measureed to analyze fire behavior and ceiling damage in the building arcade. It is found that the most serious damage is in the ceiling with wood materials and the next is aluminum, concrete and gypsum. The maximum flame height of the motorcycles fire in all tests exceed 5m and the exposure fire will spread to 2nd floor. The extent of heat flux may be more than 3m because radiation exceed the critical limit of ignition, excluding in the ceiling with gypsum. In conclusion, it is safer to use burn-enduring materials above all tests. Ching-Yung Lin 林慶元 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
