| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 87 === Recently, the using of information technology has already affected our life and busi-ness activities from research field. Business managers understand that computer net-works could speed up information communication and improve interaction between or-ganizations. However, many enterprises still follow traditional organization to inter-change information. In such process, there are many drawbacks in organizations such as postpone to information communication, difficult to share knowledge and meeting inef-ficiently. Therefore, this research applies Michael E. Porter’s Generic Strategies and fo-cus to the correlation between value chain and Groupware. We expect that we can get result whether the Groupware will change the communication type between organiza-tion, effect communication efficiency or improve business competitive advantage.
According to relevant research, we conclude the Groupware definition to “A software system which integrates specific software, hardware and work flows to support group activities”. From After collected questionnaires and processed statistic analysis. We got three main outcomes as following: （1）Organization’s communication type has obvious changed by using Groupware.（2）The descriptive statistic states the electronic mail is the best way between value chain model and Groupware functions. （3）In different fields, for the most part of users consider that Groupware can a bit of improve business competitive advantage.
