It is also often planted in garden and roadside. From the methanolic extracts of stem bark of Erythrina arborescens Roxb. eleven components were obtained. These components are including p-hydroxybenzoic acid, p-hydroxy -benzoic methyl ester, squalene, oleanolic acid, uracil, phyto -sterols, phytosterol glucosides, alpinumisoflavone, erythri-varone C, warangalone, erythrinin C. These structures were indentified by spectroscopic and chemical methods. Among the above components, p-hydroxybenzoic acid, p-hydroxybenzoic methyl ester, squalene, oleanolic acid, uracil, phytosterol glucosides, alpinumisoflavone, erythriva-rone C, warangalone, erythrinin C were first isolated from this plant. 黃克峰 1999 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
