It is hoped that the results of this study can be helpful to the soil dynamics study and suggests some useful parameters and empirical functions. By comparing the test results, it observed that the effects of the degree of saturation and the state of stress are important to the compressive velocities. Especially when the degree of saturation > 85%, the compressive wave velocities will increase apparently with the increase of the degree of saturation; but the shear wave velocities will decrease by increasing the degree of saturation or decreasing the void ratio. Besides, the Bulk modulus of the soil will become larger with the confining pressure or the axial pressure. After testing and data interpretation of triaxial stress wave measurements, the results of the uniaxial stress—strain relationships from the elastic axial—symmetric coordination are different to the static stress—strain relationships. Results indicate that the soil structure behavior is different from the dynamic characters of the soil materials. The deformation of the specimen dominates the static modulus of the material. By comparing the test results, it observed that the effects of the degree of saturation and the state of stress are important to the compressive velocities. Results indicate that the soil structure behavior is different from the dynamic characters of the soil materials. The deformation of the specimen dominates the static modulus of the material.
