In other words, the aims of this study were (1)to investigate condition between teachers'' work motivation, participative decision-making and self-efficacy in elementary schools. (2) to investigate the differences on the teachers'' work motivation, participative decision-making and self-efficacy on various background. (3) to context the relationship between teachers'' work motivation and participative decision-making. (4) to effective forecast various and influence on the teachers'' self- efficacy . (5) applications for the results of the study and suggestions for policy and teachers were also provided.A sample of qualified teachers selected from public elementary school in Taipei completed a questionnaire and 922 cases were processed. The statistical methods used for this study were the t-test, Canonical Correlation Analysis, multiple stepwise regression ,One-way ANOVA and Two-way ANOVA methods. The findings were as follows. (1) Teachers'' work motivation was at middle level.(2) Teachers'' perception of participation was middle. (3) Teachers'' self-efficacy was at middle level. (4) teachers'' work motivation was bound up with participative decision -making. There were four typical related coefficients in which could explain the relationship between teachers'' work motivation and participative decision-making. (5)The higher the teacher''s work motivation, the more higher the teacher''s self-efficacy was; the higher the teachers'' participative decision-making, the more higher the the teacher''s self-efficacy was; the teacher''s work motivation and participative decision-making which were remarkable influence on teachers'' self-efficacy.(6)The findings on teachers'' various background, work motivation, participative decision-making and self- efficacy were: the ability of each forecasting variance was better on teaching-efficacy and self-efficacy; teachers'' participative decision-making was more better than teachers'' work motivation on forecasting teachers'' self-efficacy.Applications for the results of the study and suggestions for policy, school, teacher and future study were also provided.
