Summary:碩士 === 國立陽明大學 === 公共衛生研究所 === 87 === Medical Teleconsultation System, which is part of telemedicine, is focus on the discussion among several clinical physicians, not direct consult between patient and their doctor. The main purpose of Medical Teleconsultation System is to make several physicians and specialists able to discuss same patient case synchronously. Participants can both browse computer patient''s records and add annotations to a specially interesting area. The records include digitized medical image, text file, sound file and video file. We extend Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) technology into Medical Teleconsultation System, and further develop proper architecture with transparent concurrency control and access control after having considered the properties of Medical Teleconsultation System. The experimental implementation of Medical Teleconsultation System is built upon a PC/Windows platform. This experimental system is constructed under Multi-Tier Architecture. It is divided into three levels-- Data Management Function, Business Logic Function and Presentation Function. The purpose of concurrency control is WYSIWIS (What You See Is What I See), which put participants in a same situation and then discuss the same things. The purpose of access control is WYSIWYCS (What You See Is What You Could See), which give each participant their own right and role to play with, when they are cooperating with each other. The advantages of this experimental system, which is a real-time distributed application, are to implement a proper concurrency control algorithm and access control algorithm for a multi-group and multi-user application as well as to implement a multi-thread application with the database wizard to access patient records. Through this system, we hope several specialists and professional stuffs are able to discuss same cases in the same time and then give patients the most accurate diagnosis and best treatment.
