Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 企業管理技術研究所 === 87 === Followed by the recent response to changes in the role of international industry division, the firms in Taiwan saddle on more responsibility of logistics. In contrast most firms rather rely upon third party than using logistic scheme independently. Thus, the relationships between corporation and third party become an important factor to logistics performance. The thesis discusses the impact of logistics strategies and environment factor to the governance mechanisms and the performance from alliance perspective. In the previous literatures of logistics alliance research, it mainly focuses its view on the third party’s capability, the different selection and criteria of third party. The aim of this thesis is to explore the strategic meaning of logistics and its impact on with third party. By empirical method, the context selected for the thesis were the top 1000 manufacturer and the top 500 service corporations in Taiwan. 1474 questionnaires were mailed to the manager or related personnel, and a follow-up period of two weeks. A total of 151 questionnaires were received (10.24% response rate), and a rejection of 15 questionnaires. Factor analysis, cluster analysis, ANOVA, regression analysis was conducted for the variables in each hypothesis. The conclusions of this thesis are summarized as follow: 1. The higher the uncertainty faced by the corporations, the more likely that the companies will undertake the emphasis of logistics. 2. The higher the uncertainty faced by the corporations, the more likely that the companies will form bilateral mechanism with third party. 3. The higher the uncertainty faced by the corporations, they will view the logistics as the source of competitive advantage and form bilateral mechanism with third party. 4. The bilateral mechanism will form as the relationship norms accelerate between alliance members, which has a positive impact towards alliance performance.
