Because it can be applied to deal with the problems which occur unexpectedly during the manufacturing process planning and are usually handled by process planner. The existing expert system used for process selection is that it has difficulty in dealing with the problem of multi-attribute optimization for process selection. The disadvantage of the existing multi-attribute mathematical process selection method and process planning emergency is that it has the difficulty in capturing of manufacturing process. Therefore, in this study, a knowledge-based expert system which combines with the multi-attribute optimization method is developed to solve the above problems.
