碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理科學研究所 === 88 === The rapid expansion of Taiwan packaging industry has drawn much of attention in the semiconductor industrial network. Taiwan IC industry scale is now the top four in the world. Therefore the importance of Taiwan semiconductor industrial status is observed and becomes well know worldwide. The research focus of this study is to explore the competitive advantages of firms from the supply chain management and the relationship management. The key goal of this study is to review the current competitiveness of existing packaging houses and to provide the suggestions for the future new entrants. The major approach for the study is to evaluated the current status of Taiwan semiconductor packaging houses by the questionnaires, which are carefully designed and discussed with guiding professors and experts. Several findings are offered for the future directions of academic researches and practical implications.
