Moreover, the mixed monolayers were transferred to solid substrates with different hydrophobicity characteristics by using the Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) deposition technique, in order to understand the effect of transfer promoters on the deposition of CuTTBPc LB films and the role of transfer promoters in the deposition processes. The results demonstrated that the addition of transfer promoters may improve the stability of a CuTTBPc monolayer at the air/water interface. On hydrophilic substrates of glass and germanium, since the transfer ratio for a CuTTBPc LB film was close to 1, the deposition quality was not improved with the addition of transfer promoters. However, on hydrophobic gold-coated substrates, the deposition of mixed CuTTBPc/transfer promoter LB films was dominated by CuTTBPc or arachidic acid, respectively. Furthermore, the wettability characteristics of a single layer of mixed CuTTBPc/transfer promoter LB films seemed to be affected by the existence of CuTTBPc, except for the case of CuTTBPc/arachidic acid LB films. For the deposition of CuTTBPc/transfer promoter multilayer LB films on glass substrates, the influence of transfer promoters was insignificant. However, on gold-coated substrates, the multilayer LB films with a higher deposition quality were resulted by improved attractive interactions between the monolayer and the hydrophobic substrate with the addition of arachidic acid, but not for the addition of stearyl alcohol or stearamide. Based on the observations of atomic force microscopy on the surface morphology of the LB films, it was found that the presence of arachidic acid evidently improved the homogeneity of a CuTTBPc LB film and dominated the morphology of the mixed LB films. 張鑑祥 2000 學位論文 ; thesis 105 zh-TW |
