Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 水利及海洋工程學系 === 88 === Persistent increase of carbon dioxide in atmosphere may lead to change in global and regional climate feature, such as average temperature and precipitation. This study attempts to investigate the impact of climate change on water resources in the Gao-Pen creek basin. The catchment of Shin-Fa Bridge station was selected for case study. The Mann-Kendall test was adopted to detect long-term trends of rainfall and temperature at Kaohsiung station, including monthly mean temperature, rainfall depth, monthly number of wet days, and the state transition probability of daily rainfall. The analysis results indicate that the temperature has long-term increase trend, and the state transition probability of daily rainfall also has significant change, which were used to generate the climate scenario in the future based on the theory of Thomas-Fiering. Finally, the generated climate scenario was input to a continuous rainfall-runoff model to investigate the change of water resources in Kao-Pen creek basin. The results from Shin-Fa Bridge station indicate that the future runoff has increase tendency during the wet period, and reducing tendency during the dry period.
