Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系 === 88 === Since the heat island researches in Taiwan have been on four metropolitans, the heat island effects on medium and small cities have not been completely and exhaustively studied. Hence, in this research, four medium and small cities in Taiwan are studied in order to know the characteristics of heat island phenomenon in medium and small cities, such as its changes with time and space and its temperature distribution. Moreover, with the establishment of the population and land use GIS, this research, in the fixed quantity, focuses on how the density of population and the types of land influence the urban heat island effects in the medium and small cities in Taiwan. In addition, the simple linear regression model, which integrates the previous results of Taiwan heat island studies and forecasts the relationship between Taiwan city sizes and heat island intensity in the result of population, is also concluded in this thesis. The results of this research are as follows: (1) With the motorcycle-traverse method, the data on the summer temperature and humidity in Hsin-chu 、Chia-yi、Hsin-ying、Ma-tou , four middle and small scale cities in Taiwan, are established. (2) Integrating the heat island research results of four metropolitan in Taiwan, this research establishes Taiwan local regression model of heat island intensity and the logarithmic function of population in order to be the model of forecasting Taiwan future city sizes and the heat island intensity. (3) According to the established population GIS, the relationship between population density and the heat island temperature in surveyed cities are analyzed in this thesis. (4) The surveyed cities land use GIS is built so that the relationship between types of land use and heat island temperature are thoroughly analyzed, too. Moreover, these results prove that the urban green lands contribute the mitigation to the phenomenon of urban warmth and that t the different land use types influence the urban heat island temperature. (5) The established regression model consisted of urban relative factors in accordance with the surveyed cities can be the foundation of simulating the relationship between summer heat island temperature and city sizes in Taiwan.
