The results of anthropometric evaluate showed that male swimmers with longer segment lengths, body breadth, circumferences, lean body mass and lower percent body fat. In addition, male swimmers in different specializing strokes were in conformity with their somatotype (p>.05). But female swimmers in butterfly strokes showed the lower value in all variances. As to other strokes, there was no spectacular difference in them. The conclusion that stature’s factors which affecting swimming competition performance was not all the same in different strokes. Therefore, suggests that swimmers who choosing their specialties strokes and implementing the training program should be in accordance with the anthropometric variables. 陳全壽 2000 學位論文 ; thesis 73 zh-TW
