Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 電子工程系 === 88 === In this work, two design methedologies of filter for wirelesstransceivers were proposed. In the conventional design of wireless transceivers, most ofthem use SAW filters. However, SAW filter is not easy to beintegrated into the process of CMOS IC to achieve SoC (System onChip). Thus, a new circuit architecture was proposed to supersede SAW filter. By use of the 0.24um CMOS process, we designd an RF filter with 2.4GHz, Q=30, and Gain=31.56dB, which can be applied in the Bluetooth system. The concept is to increase the Q of the inductor by use of a negative resist circuit. The voltage supply and current of the filter are 2.5V and 20mA respectively. In addition, we proposed a lowpass filter, which can be applied in the wireless LAN system, based on the architecture of GM_C filter by use of 0.35um CMOS process. The cutoff frequency is 8.7MHz, gain is 13dB, voltage is 3.3V, and current is 25mA. The two filters mentioned were designed especially for the 2.4GHz wireless transceivers to achieve the goal of SoC in the future days.
