Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 國民教育研究所 === 88 === Abstract This thesis was aimed to study the effect of sexual abuse preventive program on the influence of elementary school children’s sexual knowledge and sexual attitude .The purposes of the study were to explore: (1) the effect of sexual abuse preventive program on the instant influence of elementary school children’s sexual knowledge and sexual attitude, (2) the persistent influence of the sexual abuse preventive program on the sexual knowledge and sexual attitude of elementary school children, (3)based on the findings of the study to advance suggestions for the teaching of sexual abuse preventive program in elementary schools. The quasi-experimental design of the study was a nonequivalent-control group design. The experimental group was treated with sexual abuse preventive program forty minutes each week, for a total of six weeks throughout the study. The control group was not given any treatment. The different treatments were independent variables, and the dependent variables were subjects’ scores on the scale of sexual knowledge and sexual attitude for children. Also, the follow up to realize the persistent influence of the sexual abuse preventive program on the sexual knowledge and sexual attitude after six weeks of the experimental treatment. Moreover, the feedback questionnaire of activity made quality statements to assist the evaluation in the influence of children’s sexual knowledge and sexual attitude. The main findings of this study were as follows: 1. The sexual abuse preventive program had significant effect on the increase of elementary school children’s instant sexual knowledge, but had no significant effect on the increase of elementary school children’s instant sexual attitude. 2. The sexual abuse preventive program had no significant effect on the persistent influence of elementary school children’s sexual knowledge and sexual attitude. 3. The quality statements of the experimental group in the activity feedback questionnaire were positively helpful for elementary school children’s sexual knowledge and sexual attitude. Based on the results and several limits of this study, some suggestions about school’s sexual abuse preventive guidance and future research were addressed.
