Abstract Since 1981,the labor counseling system in Taiwan is the primary of employee assistance program. Because of the mine factory does failure in progress,result in labor counseling system can’t be successful in enterprise business. Therefore, between in 1980,the Executive Yuan Labor Affairs progress 「Labor counseling system」by the name 「Industry socility work」 . Since 1984,in order to face the changes of social environment,and to cope with new generation labor’s demand the Executive Yuan Labor Affairs does aggressive progress and changes the name 「Industry society work」to 「employee Assistance Programs」. Under the Labor Affairs does aggressive progress 「Employee Assistance Programs」in recently year, there are approximately thirty enterprise that develop the EAPs for several year, and more enterprise that they are progressing now. It will be increased the 「Job Satisfaction」、「Life Quality」、「Organizational Commitment」upon EAPs has been done? Due to it is still deficient to prove in the field, therefore, it will become the primary proved problem. This thesis did the analysis through issuing questionnaires. Effective questionnaires sent back are 202. By using statistical method, the results of this research indicate that: 1. There are no differences on Job Satisfaction within「been using EAPs」、「Never use EAPs but want to use」、「realize EAPs but do not want to use」. 2. There are no differences on Life Quality within「been using EAPs」、「Never use EAPs but want to use」、「realize EAPs but do not want to use」. 3. There are no differences on Organizational commitment within「been using EAPs」、「Never use EAPs but want to use」、「realize EAPs but do not want to use」. 4. The are differences on the needs of EAPs within「been using EAPs」、「Never use EAPs but want to use」、「realize EAPs but do not want to use」,. the group of the「Never use EAPs but want to use」is higher than the group of 「realize EAPs but do not want to use」. 5. The health needs of Employee Assistance Programs has the positive effects on the 「Job Satisfaction」. 6. The job-oriented needs of Employee Assistance Programs have the positive effects on the 「Organizational Commitment」. Abstract
Since 1981,the labor counseling system in Taiwan is the primary of employee assistance program.
