Among them, the color inkjet printer is one of the most popular image output devices. One of the key factors to quality printing is the inkjet head servo motor control. This thesis mainly focuses on the research of this motor control system and implements the control system with TI TMS320C50 DSP. In general, there are two ways for inkjet head printer control.One uses stepper motor with open loop control and the other uses DC motor and optical encoder with closed-loop servo control.This thesis investigates both approaches and compares their performance. In summary, by integrating several opto-mechatronic components,this thesis realizes both an open loop and a closed-loop setup for inkjet head motor control, and proves the practicability of our designs. 鄭智湧 2000 學位論文 ; thesis 78 zh-TW
