Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電機工程學研究所 === 88 === The aim of this thesis is to study and implement the asymmetrical half-bridge zero-voltage-switching DC power supply. In traditional switching power supplies, hard switching is detrimental to electromagnetic interference and efficiency. In ZVS asymmetrical half-bridge PWM converter, the switching noise and loss can be reduced; meanwhile, the operation frequency can be increased and the circuit efficiency can be improved. First, the basic operation principle of the asymmetrical half bridge ZVS converter is described in this thesis, and reducing the ZVS condition of the switch by adjusting the transformer turn ratio is proposed. Then, the design considerations for a practical 510W converter is illustrated. The theoretical analysis is then verified by experiments on the implemented prototype.
